Mother Day Craft!

Hi Happy People,
First of all, I want to tell you dollies that I'm going on vacation for a week.
I will not post in my vacation. But I have something you dollies can do. . .

Do you already have an amazing present for Mother Day? If you don't, here's a fun and easy DIY!

If you never crochet, don't think you can't! It's way more easy then knitting. Just look up a video on Youtube or search for it on Google. Just try and have fun!

What you need:
- a cart ( I used the BIG book of Happy from AG, but you can use other cards too. If you don't have got a cart, you can look here for some great ideas!)
- some cotton yarn
- crochet needle
- Needle to punch holes

Step 1: Use a needle to punch holes around the edge of the card. Start by punching holes in the corners and then try to evenly space them apart.

Step 2: Start with a slip stitch in one hole, then make 4 chain stitches. Than one slip stitch in the next hole.

Step 3: Repeat this until you reach the hole in the corner. Make one slip stitch, 4 chain stitches and one slip stitch in the same corner hole.

Step 4: Crochet this way around the edge of the card.

Step 5: To make a scallop I crochet under a chain loop: 1 slip stitch, 1 single crochet, 1 double stitch, 1 double stitch, 1 single stitch, 1 slip stitch.

Step 6: Work your way around all loops.

Step 7: Crochet a loop from chain stitches at the top of the card

I love how it turned out!

I hope y'all have a great Mother Day!
I see you dollies after my vacation with lots of pics from Saige in Germany :D

PS. I saw this idea on the blog of the Dutch Sisters

Lots of love,
Pretty Lilly - an American Girl
