Lilly's Monthly Advice - May

Hi Happy People,

From now on I am going to try to post some monthly advice for you and dollies!

Let's start with Saige's advice. 

After all those hard finals and tests, you need to relax with a Spa Day!

Saige is wearing a retired bath wrap from American Girl. I love the lavender blue color!

Saige is wearing some plush slippers from Bitty Baby. They're retired and they barely fit, but they look too cute!

Saige: "There are a lot of bubbles in my bathtub! This is so relaxing."

Saige: "I always want to make myself look my best, so I am experimenting with my new make-up!"

Saige also loves to read AG books, like her own story Saige, Meet Caroline or Very funny, Elizabeth!

But reading the AG magazine is also a lot of fun.

Happy Mother's Day

Hi Dollies,

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope you have an amazing day with your Mom :)

This is how Rory planned it.

STEP 1: Flowers! Every Mom loves flowers. Rory bought some red, pink and white roses.

STEP 2: Surprise her with a delicious breakfast! This dollie-sized breakfast is the AG breakfast set. I totally recommend this set for every day use. Rory made some pancakes with strawberries on the side, some yogurt parfait, some cinnamon rolls and some orange juice. ENJOY!

STEP 3: A present! I personally think handmade gifts are the best. If you don't have any inspiration, scroll down for a DIY.

Rory: "Hi Mom! Happy Mother's Day. I hope you have a fabulous day!"

Look, it's Mamma Mia! Do you get it? It's Mia and she's Mom, hihi :)
Mom: "Oh honey! Thanks for the flowers and the delicious breakfast and … is that what I think it is? A PRESENT?!"

Rory: "Yes Mom, a present!"
You can make a few pages in the quote book yourself and you can make the rest with your Mom! On the next Mother's Day you can read all the quotes together.

DIY - Mother's Day Gift Idea

Hi Dollies!

Don't forget! It's Mother's Day tomorrow! 

Do you already have a gift for your Mom?

If you don't, don't worry… Pretty Lilly to the rescue!

Rory is making a little quote book for her mom!

Here is what you'll need:
- notebook/scrapbook
- pencil
- decorative tape, stickers, paperclips etc.
- quotes

I used the green scrapbook from American Girl Crafts.

Rory: "Let's get started!"

You can find great inspirational and positive quotes at this site.
You can also search for #positivequote or #dailyquote on Instagram for some great quotes.

Triple Pink Outfits

Hi Happy People,

WE LOVE PINK!

Lanie, Gilly and Maddie decided to dress up… in pink! 

1. Maddie - Cute and Girly

Maddie is wearing the tee from the MAG meet outfit, Isabelle's skort and a bow hairband from the Flower sweater and skirt.

I love the pattern on her tee! It's so girly and fun.

Her shoes are the Polka-dot flats from AG. I love the little bow on the side!

Maddie: "This hairband is amazing! It ties all the colors of pink in my outfit together."

The flower design on Izzy's skort is too cute! It's so glamourous and shiny :)

Maddie: "I love my outfit!"

2. Gilly - Hot pink floral

Gilly is wearing the retired AG SHINE tee and the skirt from the Floral sweater and skirt set.

Gilly: "The skirt is so comfortable. And BTW, it's my favorite skirt!"

Did you know that you could only buy this tee with a human sized tee too? You and your dollie could wear matching tee's!

The pattern on the skirt is so cute <3

These adorable flats are from Isabelle's Metallic Dress. The coral color is fab!

Gilly: "I made my hairstyle by twisting two sections from my hair and securing it with a hot pink bow."

3. Lanie - Fancy and Fab!

Lanie is wearing the retired flower garden dress from AG. Her hairband is from the Sweet Savannah outfit from AG.

I love the floral design on the front of her dress!

Lanie is wearing the shoes from the Sweet Spring Dress from American Girl.

The adorable flower and ruffle pattern on the end of the dress is lovely!

Lanie: "This hairband is one of my favorites. It's a piece of tule that looks like a flower with a sparkly gem stone in it!"

Cinco de Mayo!

Hi Dollies,

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Have a lovely day with your friends and family.

We decided to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with eating taco's!
If you want to make these too, there's a tutorial in the AG Doll Dining book.

Of course you have to look pretty for Cinco de Mayo!
That's why Lilly is wearing all red: A red in-store-only retired tee from American Girl, a white jeans with a red belt (which is also in-store-only and retired) from AG and a red hairband with gemstones from an AG Christmas dress.

Chili peppers are pretty Mexican, right? That's why we use them in our cooking. They are a bit spicy!

Gilly's new job

Hi Dollies!

I gave a review of the Doll @ Work book in my last posts.

One of the jobs is walking the dogs.

Gilly was thrilled to have this new job!

Gilly loves animals, especially the dogs of all my friends. They're all so cute!

The names of the dogs are (from the left to the right): Barksee, Cooper, Chocolate Chip, Pepper and Honey.

Gilly is rockin' her new t-shirt! The hot pink looks so good on her.

Pepper and Honey are going for a bone…

Barksee and Chocolate Chip are chasing a cord…

And oh no! Cooper is running away!

Luckily, Gilly saw it and she caught Cooper.
Gilly: "Bad doggie! Don't ever run away again, buddy."

Gilly: "I love these dogs! They're all so cuddly and fluffy and nice. I love my new job!"
